Michael studied interior design in San Diego while apprenticing under two highly regarded designers at “Design Studio" in La Jolla. The practice had been in business since 1967, a La Jolla institution. In 1995 after the retirement of one of the principles and relocation of the other, Michael took control of the business and began his private practice in January of that year, now some two decades ago.

With high end residential and commercial projects in many styles have taken Michael and his Firm throughout Southern California, Arizona, Las Vegas Nevada, Breckenridge Colorado, Nebraska, Connecticut and Savannah Georgia.

Multiple local/regional and national publications including San Diego Home and Garden, San Diego Magazine, Elegant Homes and many “Specialty Interest Publications” by Better Homes and Gardens. Twice in “Home of the Year” with San Diego Home and Garden.

Design Studio is a full service design firm. Offering full design services including space planning, build/permit plan set preparation, kitchen/bath design, materials selection/specification, lighting design as well as furnishing design and specification. We can function from design consultation to bringing a project from conception to completion.
